Design Engineer – Electromechanical Product Development

About the role

We are seeking an innovative Design Engineer to lead the development of new electromechanical products from concept through to production. You will own the full product lifecycle, ensuring successful market launch of cutting‑edge solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end new product development (NPD) projects, from idea generation to manufacturing.
• Design and develop electromechanical systems using CAD, supported by finite element analysis (FEA).
• Update and redesign products in response to legislative and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain and product management.
• Optimize designs for manufacturing processes such as moulding, fabrication and metal forming.
• Contribute to technology development and innovation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering NPD/NPI projects in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in electromechanical product design.
• Commercial awareness of product lifecycle and management.
• Proactive, motivated and ready for a fresh challenge in an innovative setting.

Required skills

• CAD (computer‑aided design) software.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
• Knowledge of moulding, fabrication and metal forming processes.
• Electromechanical design expertise.
