About the role
Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Design Engineer to join a growing engineering business in North East England. The role offers exposure to detailed engineering design, 3D modelling and BIM, with full product training provided.
Key responsibilities
- Produce detailed layout and route drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Convert customer requirements into accurate engineering drawings and layouts.
- Work with Revit models and Autodesk Docs for project file sharing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Coordinate designs with customers, factory teams and installation contractors.
- Maintain accurate project records in line with company quality procedures.
Required profile
- Strong background in 2D CAD, particularly AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Good communication skills for liaising with customers and contractors.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
