About the role
We are seeking a Design Engineer to join a leading sheet‑metal manufacturer in Portsmouth. The role offers full training, clear progression and a modern, fully‑equipped facility.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 3D CAD models to support manufacturing processes.
- Design sheet‑metal components and structural steel systems.
- Perform calculations and oversee production of sheet‑metal equipment.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs meet specifications.
Required profile
- Proven experience in mechanical or product design.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
- Ability to commute to Portsmouth (Southsea, Havant, Fareham, Southampton, Chichester, Eastleigh, South Coast).
