Deskside Technician – Onsite IT Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Deskside Technician to deliver high‑quality, on‑site IT support in a fast‑paced environment. You will act as the first point of contact for users, handling incidents via phone, email, and face‑to‑face, and escalating to third‑party groups when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely support that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Identify, analyse, and repair hardware and software failures; order and replace parts as required.
• Maintain user account information, rights, and security groups.
• Resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues on‑site, coordinating with resolver groups.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for hardware and software problem resolution.
• Install PCs, peripherals, LAN equipment, and move workstations and telecommunications gear.
• Manage IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) processes, including ordering, receiving, installing, testing, and documenting equipment.
• Provide AV and conference‑room support using tools such as MTR and Cisco Rooms.

Required profile

• Familiarity with operational ICT procedures and service delivery.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in desktop/field support.
• Strong customer focus, analytical thinking, and creative problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.
