Developer Work Placement – Remote (4‑Week, UK Experience)

About the role

This 4‑week remote work placement is designed for aspiring software, app and web developers who want hands‑on experience with real‑world projects and UK industry standards. You will work on simulated industry‑inspired applications under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and structure frontend and/or backend components for a web or app project.
• Implement features based on functional requirements and write clean, maintainable code.
• Debug issues, optimise performance and document your work.
• Collaborate through weekly mentor‑led sessions and receive continuous feedback.
• Produce a portfolio‑ready case study and code walkthrough for your CV and GitHub.

• Motivation to start a career in software, app or web development.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and follow structured tasks.
