About the role
This 4‑week remote placement is designed for aspiring software, web and app developers who want hands‑on project experience to strengthen their CV and GitHub portfolio. You will work on real‑world tasks under the guidance of industry mentors, gaining insight into how UK‑style development teams deliver products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop web applications, internal tools and API‑driven systems.
- Build feature‑based modules for mobile or desktop apps.
- Write, test and debug frontend and/or backend code.
- Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable code.
- Document your work and prepare presentations for technical interviews.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic learner with a basic understanding of software development.
- Motivated to work independently in a remote environment.
- Interest in building a professional portfolio and receiving mentorship.
Required skills
- Version control using Git.
- API development concepts.
- Frontend development fundamentals.
- Backend development fundamentals.
