Development Lead – Parent & Infant Relationship Service

About the role

The Development Lead will head the Parent and Infant Relationship Service within Hounslow's Universal Support Service. You will shape evidence‑based interventions that support secure attachment and infant mental health during the critical first 1,001 days of life.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of the Parent and Infant Relationship Service.
• Collaborate with health, early years, family support, social care and community partners across the Best Start in Life programme and Best Start Family Hubs.
• Develop and embed an integrated, evidence‑based approach to early family support.
• Oversee quality assurance, workforce development and performance monitoring.
• Influence borough‑wide practice and drive innovation in early intervention services.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in early years, health, social care or related public‑sector services.
• Strong track record of developing and implementing evidence‑based programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership‑building skills.
