DevOps Engineer - AWS & Terraform

About the role

Join Global Payments' CI/CD Platform Team as a DevOps Engineer, responsible for building and operating cloud‑native infrastructure that powers global commerce. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies to automate, scale, and secure the platform used by development teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Design, build, and operate containerised platforms with Docker and Amazon EKS.
• Develop and manage CI/CD tooling, including GitHub Enterprise Runners, CloudBees Jenkins, and Harness.
• Administer GitHub Enterprise Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Host and operate enterprise GitHub runners for organization‑wide consumption.
• Provide technical guidance and enablement to development teams using the CI/CD platform.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for GitHub and GitHub Copilot, promoting AI‑assisted development best practices.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical demos.
• Contribute to project planning, documentation, and stakeholder presentations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with GitHub Enterprise administration or large‑scale Linux system administration.
• Strong background in Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
