DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

Thales is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and secure the DCC infrastructure within its Cyber Security & Digital Identity division. You will design, automate and maintain the platform that enables safe, reliable product releases for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain system architecture for the DCC infrastructure.
• Develop and provide automated tools and scripts for provisioning compute, network and storage resources.
• Implement operational best practices such as monitoring, backups, archives and log management.
• Ensure security best practices are applied and communicated across the squad.
• Educate and train delivery teams on infrastructure constraints and DevOps processes.
• Produce deployment scripts, documentation and design resources for PaaS environments.

Required profile

• Degree level qualification or equivalent in an engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure automation and supporting production environments.
• Membership or fellowship of a professional engineering body, preferably chartered.
• Agile certification and alignment with Thales Leadership Model behaviours.

Required skills

• Infrastructure automation (scripted deployment, provisioning).
• Platform as a Service (PaaS) concepts.
• Monitoring, backup and log‑management practices.
• Security best practices for cloud/infra environments.
