DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing proprietary trading firm that blends institutional‑grade market platforms with innovative in‑house front‑office systems. The DevOps Engineer will own, scale, and evolve a multi‑environment AWS infrastructure while ensuring high‑impact automation and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terragrunt and Terraform.
• Operate production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and manage data layers such as Aurora Postgres, MongoDB, and Kafka streams.
• Develop clean automation scripts, internal platform tools, and targeted database fixes in Python and SQL.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI.
• Monitor system health and optimize reliability with Datadog.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive pragmatic, high‑impact solutions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of dedicated cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with core AWS services (EKS, IAM, RDS/Aurora).
• Proficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt and comfortable writing code‑centric internal tools.
• Clear, concise communicator who stays calm under pressure and values pragmatic execution.
