DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing proprietary trading firm that builds institutional‑grade market platforms and in‑house front‑office trading systems. The team operates with a flat structure and focuses on high‑impact automation. As a DevOps Engineer you will own, scale and evolve the multi‑environment AWS infrastructure and ensure reliable operation of production Kubernetes clusters and data services.

Key responsibilities

• Own, scale, and evolve multi‑environment AWS infrastructure using Terragrunt and Terraform.
• Maintain production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and manage data layers such as Postgres (Aurora), MongoDB, and Kafka streams.
• Write clean automation scripts, internal platform tools, and targeted database fixes using Python and SQL.
• Build robust deployment pipelines in GitLab CI and monitor system reliability with Datadog.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of dedicated cloud, platform or DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with core AWS services (EKS, IAM, RDS) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, comfortable working with codebases and building internal tools.
• Clear, concise communicator who stays calm under pressure and values pragmatic execution.
