DevOps Engineer – London

About the role

Join a leading global investment management firm as a DevOps Engineer within its high‑performing London technology team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers critical business and trading operations across Europe and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve the DevOps ecosystem, including CI/CD pipelines, source control, and infrastructure‑as‑code tooling.
• Oversee software deployment, release management, and lifecycle processes for mission‑critical platforms.
• Administer and automate Linux environments, ensuring security, resilience, and operational stability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise production systems to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to deliver scalable, robust technology solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on DevOps professional with a passion for automation, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive ownership mentality.

• Linux administration
• Scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform or Puppet
