DevSecOps Engineer – Cloud Platform & Security

About the role

CGI is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to design and operate resilient cloud platforms that power critical systems. You will embed security and automation throughout the lifecycle, working across modern cloud environments to deliver high‑value solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and secure cloud platforms across major hyperscalers.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Automate and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tooling.
• Implement and enhance containerisation and virtual environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Embed observability through monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Lead and champion DevSecOps and SRE best practices.
• Mentor and support engineering teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles within modern cloud environments.
• Proactive approach to security, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and mentor others.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud).
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to build and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or Go.
• Demonstrated experience embedding security within DevOps practices.
