DevSecOps Engineer – Secure CI/CD & Cloud

About the role

Genese Solution is looking for a motivated DevSecOps Engineer to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with developers, operations, and security teams to deliver secure, automated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and extend DevSecOps practices across internal projects and customer engagements.
• Partner with developers and stakeholders to integrate security principles into design, deployment, and operations.
• Define, automate, and maintain CI/CD security strategies and controls.
• Conduct shift‑left security activities: risk assessments, threat modeling, and early vulnerability detection using SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP, SCA and AI‑driven scans.
• Supervise testing, validation, and implementation of security controls for infrastructure, applications, and AI systems.
• Deliver secure‑coding training and promote remediation based on risk tolerance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on DevSecOps experience.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified DevSecOps Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are a plus.
• Strong project‑management, communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Security testing tools: Snyk, SonarSource, SAST/DAST/IAST/RASP/SCA solutions.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding standards, networking, IAM, encryption, and overall security best practices.
