Digital Content Manager

About the role

The Digital Content Manager will lead the strategy and execution of all online content for Concern Worldwide, ensuring a compelling experience for digital audiences while driving awareness, income and brand loyalty. This 12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover role sits at the heart of the communications team and works across the organisation to deliver high‑quality digital copy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the digital content strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee creation, publishing and optimisation of content across websites, social channels and email platforms.
• Maintain editorial standards, brand consistency and risk management for all digital outputs.
• Collaborate with programme, fundraising and marketing teams to gather requirements and deliver timely content.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse audience data and adjust tactics to improve engagement.
• Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital content management or senior copywriting, preferably within the nonprofit or humanitarian sector.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance multiple stakeholder demands.
• Excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model – office attendance once per week.
• Flexibility to work between 7 am and 7 pm as needed.
