Digital Learning and Learner Experience Lead

About the role

Law Training Centre delivers professional legal education and regulated qualifications through online learning. The role focuses on improving how learners experience this content by designing, building and modernising digital courses. It is a hands‑on, fixed‑term contractor position where you will create and implement solutions rather than only advise.

Key responsibilities

• Transform expert‑led legal content into engaging, visually polished digital learning experiences.
• Design clear, self‑paced learning journeys for adult professionals.
• Enhance existing courses by adding interactive activities, assessments, knowledge checks and learning resources.
• Use modern authoring tools and AI‑enabled technology to increase production efficiency and quality.
• Develop reusable templates, structures and production methods to ensure consistency and usability across courses.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, reducing unnecessary review cycles while maintaining high standards.
• Identify and implement practical improvements to learning design, production processes and overall learner experience.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in digital learning, instructional design or a closely related field.
• Proven track record designing adult and professional learning, including AI‑assisted content production and assessment.
• Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle and self‑paced course design.
• Ability to work closely with subject‑matter experts to create visually strong, engaging online learning.
• Experience in regulated or complex knowledge‑based environments is a strong advantage, though not mandatory.
