Digital Learning Designer – Higher Education (6‑Month Contract)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Digital Learning Designer to create engaging online learning experiences for a specialist higher‑education environment. You will work closely with academics, project managers and subject‑matter experts to translate complex technical content into effective digital courses.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive online learning modules, storyboards and digital resources.
- Collaborate with academics and stakeholders to align content with learning outcomes.
- Support the enhancement of virtual learning environments and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives across digital learning projects.
Required profile
- Proven experience in digital learning design, instructional design or learning technology.
- Strong background working with academic stakeholders in higher education.
- Experience delivering projects on a VLE/LMS platform such as Canvas.
- Familiarity with blended and online learning pedagogies.
Required skills
- Canvas (or similar VLE/LMS) platform.
- Articulate 360 for interactive content creation.
- Storyboarding and online content development.
