Digital Marketing Manager – Performance & Acquisition

About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the digital acquisition and performance marketing function for a regulated UK financial services organisation undergoing a major digital transformation. This newly created position focuses on building in‑house capability, reducing agency reliance, and linking marketing activity directly to revenue outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver the digital marketing strategy across SEO, generative search, paid search and paid social.
• Define and execute an integrated acquisition roadmap aligned with commercial growth objectives.
• Plan, manage and optimise paid media campaigns to drive efficient lead generation and conversion.
• Lead SEO and emerging AI search initiatives to improve organic visibility.
• Monitor performance, attribution and ROI, using data to drive continuous optimisation.
• Collaborate with content, data, web and agency partners to deliver high‑performing campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital or performance marketing roles.
• Strong hands‑on expertise across SEO, paid search and paid social.
• Understanding of AI‑driven search and emerging trends.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using analytics to optimise ROI.
• Experience managing campaigns, budgets and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, especially in complex or regulated environments.
