Digital Operations Support Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a hands‑on introduction to finance operations within a leading logistics company. You will work alongside the finance team, gaining experience in digital payment processes, SAP finance, and Microsoft Office tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for incoming calls, triage tickets and escalate when required.
• Develop proficiency as a super‑user of the SAP finance system for invoicing and payment processing.
• Produce financial reports using Microsoft Excel and manage a centralised finance mailbox.
• Validate supplier statements and maintain data integrity for financial controls.
• Prepare and run weekly and bi‑monthly digital payment runs.
• Investigate and resolve supplier and internal queries, offering application and user support.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Management teams via digital communication tools.

Required profile

• A keen interest in finance and a desire to start a career in the field.
• Strong time‑keeping and organisational abilities.
• Motivation to learn new systems and processes.
