Digital Product Designer

About the role

E.ON Next Digital is looking for a Digital Product Designer to shape inclusive, simple and beautiful app and web experiences for millions of customers. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position based in a hybrid model, working within a cross‑functional product squad.

Key responsibilities

• Design intuitive UX/UI solutions for mobile apps and responsive web products across discovery and delivery phases.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers and fellow designers in an agile squad.
• Create user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity UI designs.
• Support and participate in discovery, ideation and journey‑mapping workshops.
• Apply and contribute to the E.ON Next design system to ensure consistency and quality.
• Work with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Present design work clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer on app and web‑based digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong user‑centred thinking and refined UI execution.
• Solid understanding of UX, interaction design, visual design and accessibility principles.
• Experience collaborating within cross‑functional, agile teams.
• Clear, confident communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort receiving feedback, iterating on designs and continuously developing craft.
