Digital Project Manager – Army

About the role

The Army Individual Training Command is seeking a Digital Project Manager to lead and coordinate digital change initiatives across its headquarters. You will be responsible for delivering projects that enhance training, automation, and reporting capabilities while supporting the Army’s vision of world‑leading human performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead coordinator for selected digital change programmes within HQ AITC.
• Initiate, plan, direct and deliver projects, ensuring they meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Apply appropriate project methodologies, primarily Association of Project Management (APM) and, where suitable, PRINCE2 or Agile within a Managing Successful Programmes framework.
• Track, coordinate and provide oversight for multiple digital initiatives, including digitisation of training technology, process automation and digitally supported reporting.
• Engage with the Project Board and Programme Office to manage tolerances and approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing digital change projects in a complex organisational environment.
• Strong understanding of APM methodology, with familiarity of PRINCE2 and Agile approaches.
• Ability to balance stakeholder needs, deliver on agreed objectives and work within a hybrid office setting (minimum 60% onsite).
