Digital Sales Manager

About the role

Sky Media, the advertising arm of Sky, sells digital advertising across its channels and sites, including Sky Sports, Sky News, Sky 1, Sky Movies, Sky Arts, Sky Living, Sky Atlantic and Sky.com, as well as for brands such as Discovery Networks, Viacom, Fox and NBC Universal. The Digital Sales team drives revenue growth from digital advertising, and the Digital Sales Manager reports to the Digital Sales Controller and delivers direct online and programmatic revenues while navigating changes in the digital advertising landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch for new revenue from non-spenders and write timely, creative and effective proposals to advertiser briefs.
• Build market knowledge and sales skills for third-party platforms such as YouTube, X, TikTok and Meta.
• Deliver high-standard sales collateral and brief responses.
• Build working relationships with Sky and Sky Media teams to sell digital ad opportunities and pitch other products in the portfolio.
• Generate secure digital revenue across Sky's and its partners' digital estates on web and app, and oversee the selling and administration of non-spot ad revenues.
• Manage and grow revenue from new and existing digital advertisers and drive multi-platform usage.
• Develop a team of Sales Execs and Assistants and manage the pipeline to forecast and outperform revenue targets.

Required profile

• Significant proven experience in the digital media industry.
• Experience delivering against revenue targets and managing targets.
• Proven ability to deliver creative solutions and to build relationships with key decision-makers in clients and agencies.
• Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship offered.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of online media sales and the media planning and buying process.
• Excellent sales skills and ability to forecast and manage a pipeline.
