Digital Trainer

About the role

The Digital Trainer will join the Digital, Data & Technology Directorate of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to deliver high‑quality digital learning across the organisation. This is a fixed‑term secondment lasting 22 months, from June 2026 to March 2028, funded to support the Board’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training sessions on digital tools and systems used within the health board.
• Create and maintain e‑learning resources, guides and instructional materials.
• Assess training needs of clinical and non‑clinical staff and tailor programmes accordingly.
• Provide post‑training support and act as a first‑line resource for digital queries.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and report outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering digital training or education, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of NHS digital platforms and data security principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a diverse workforce.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and reasonable adjustments for all learners.
