Director – Cambridge Office

About the role
The Cambridge Office Director will lead the practice across Cambridge and the wider East Anglia region, shaping its strategic direction and driving growth. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you will act as the external face of the office, championing innovation, collaboration and excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute a five‑year strategy to position the practice as the leading consultancy in the UK.
- Own the cost centre budget, P&L, utilisation and monthly financial reporting.
- Promote the Cambridge office and East Anglia region internally and externally, identifying new business opportunities and cross‑selling services.
- Act as Delivery Guardian, ensuring projects meet quality standards, limit liabilities and staff are properly trained.
- Drive adoption of new tools and platforms to increase productivity and delivery accuracy.
- Represent the office at industry events, produce thought leadership pieces and shape sector direction.
- Mentor junior staff, close skills gaps and implement training programmes.
Required profile
- Proven track record in the Cambridge local market.
- Strong leadership, strategy development and team collaboration abilities.
- Significant delivery experience across Government, Education, Health and Commercial Property sectors.
- Deep understanding of local economic conditions and competitive landscape.
