Director, Client Planning

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth, award‑winning global media agency to hire a Director of Client Planning. You will act as the trusted strategic advisor for senior client stakeholders, shaping integrated media strategies that drive measurable business outcomes for leading brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders and become their primary media advisor.
• Own the development and execution of annual and quarterly integrated media plans, allocating budgets across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, SEO and other channels.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including Paid Media, Programmatic, SEO, Analytics and Strategy—to deliver best‑in‑class client outcomes.
• Drive overall account performance, ensuring campaigns meet client KPIs and commercial objectives.
• Champion innovation, experimentation and AI‑driven optimisation across client accounts.
• Manage account scope, resource planning and profitability while supporting new‑business pitches and organic growth.

Required profile

• 8+ years delivering integrated media solutions within a full‑service media agency.
• Experience in a senior client leadership role such as Client Director, Planning Director or Group Account Director.
• Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and influencing C‑suite stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of integrated media planning across digital and offline channels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams across multiple media disciplines.
