About the role
We are seeking a reliable Dispatch Operative to join our busy e‑commerce fulfilment centre in Rochester. The role involves picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Key responsibilities
- Pick customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Pack products securely for shipment.
- Label parcels correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
- Retrieve stock from the warehouse and move boxes as needed.
- Keep the work area clean, safe and organised.
- Assist with stock control and inventory tasks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets.
Required profile
- Willingness to work Sundays – this is non‑negotiable.
- Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Dependable team player with good communication.
- Flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time shifts.
Required skills
- Use of handheld scanners.
- Operation of basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks).
