We are partnering with a leading independent optical boutique in historic Cambridge to hire a full‑time Dispensing Optician. The practice is award‑winning, known for its distinctive styling, expert clinical care and highly personalised service.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense eyewear from a curated collection of independent and luxury frame brands, ensuring precise fitting and high‑quality finishes.
• Provide bespoke eyewear styling advice, combining fashion sense with clinical requirements.
• Attend international trade shows and participate in regular internal and external training sessions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage professional fees.
• Collaborate with a close‑knit team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Required profile

• GOC‑registered Dispensing Optician.
• Passion for fashion and eyewear styling with strong attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented, proactive attitude and commitment to high‑quality dispenses.
• Desire to work in a design‑led, innovative optical environment.

Required skills

• Professional dispensing and fitting techniques.
