About the role

We are seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our Weymouth store. You will provide bespoke eyewear solutions, support the retail team and ensure expert eye‑care for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and verify customer prescriptions accurately.
• Fit and dispense frames and lenses from premium brands.
• Provide personalised advice on eyewear and eye‑care needs.
• Maintain precise customer records and manage stock.
• Collaborate with the retail team to deliver high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Approved qualification to practice as a Dispensing Optician in the UK.
• Registration with the General Optical Council.
• Solution‑focused with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
• Knowledge of current optical trends and industry regulations.
