About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified dispensing optician to join its flagship store in North West London. You will work with premium eyewear brands and support both clinical and retail teams to deliver a high‑quality in‑store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bespoke eyewear solutions, guiding customers through frame and lens selection.
• Interpret prescriptions accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with clinicians to manage eye‑care conditions such as dry eye and myopia.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and optical standards.
• Offer flexible weekend and evening availability to meet customer demand.

Required profile

• Approved qualification to practise as a dispensing optician in the UK.
• Registration with the General Optical Council.
• Strong attention to detail and solution‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.

Required skills

• Interpretation of optical prescriptions.
• Knowledge of managing common eye‑care conditions.
• Familiarity with premium eyewear brands and lens options.
