Distribution Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Distribution Coordinator to join our busy logistics team in Ellesmere Port. You will be the central point for planning and executing customer deliveries, working closely with haulier partners and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate customer deliveries across a network of transport providers.
• Maintain daily communication with haulier partners to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor delivery performance, resolve issues quickly and keep accurate records.
• Support delivery confirmations, reconciliations and invoicing processes.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Customer Service, Finance and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Build strong relationships with customers and transport partners.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, transport, supply chain or distribution.
• Experience with third‑party logistics providers and haulier networks is advantageous.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercial awareness of cost and service impacts.
