Divisional Director – Multi‑site Primary Care

About the role
This is a senior leadership position overseeing a recently merged, four‑site NHS primary care organisation in North Somerset. You will have full operational responsibility and the autonomy to shape strategy, build teams and drive integration across the sites.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership for all four practices.
- Work closely with Surgery Managers and clinical leads to ensure high performance and compliance.
- Manage risk, quality, and staff development across the network.
- Directly line‑manage non‑clinical Surgery Managers and oversee clinical leads.
- Influence organisational strategy as the group expands.
Required profile
- Proven senior management experience in NHS primary care or a comparable multi‑site healthcare setting.
- Strong collaborative approach with both clinical and non‑clinical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, succession planning and integration projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary between £66,500 and £72,000 per annum.
- Full NHS pension scheme.
- Six weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, with annual pay review.
- Mileage reimbursement and 50% contribution towards work‑related mobile phone costs.
