Domain Expert - Responsible AI, Ethics & Assurance

About the role

Methods is seeking a Domain Expert to lead Responsible AI, Ethics & Assurance initiatives for its public‑sector and high‑impact private‑sector clients. You will help organisations adopt AI and data‑driven technologies in a safe, lawful, ethical and transparent manner.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on AI governance, ethics, assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Shape and develop Methods’ Responsible AI propositions and service offerings.
• Guide delivery teams on ethical AI design, risk mitigation and explainability.
• Act as a thought leader and subject‑matter authority across sectors such as public services, energy, defence and aerospace.
• Represent Methods at industry events, practice communities and client workshops.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AI ethics, governance, risk or assurance within complex organisations.
• Familiarity with public‑sector regulations and high‑risk domains (energy, defence, aerospace).
• Strong analytical and communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
