Domestic Assistant – Hospital Cleaning (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Domestic Assistant to join the cleaning team at QEQM Hospital in Margate. This temporary position offers a rotational schedule and the opportunity to support a busy healthcare environment while gaining valuable experience in a clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a detailed cleaning schedule and complete associated paperwork accurately.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet roll, hand towels, soap, and sanitizer.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, clinical and non‑clinical areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Carry out tasks safely, observe social distancing, and wear required PPE.
• Liaise with management and report any issues to appropriate staff members.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar domestic or cleaning role.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and ability to provide two proofs of address.
• Willingness to obtain a Standard DBS check or hold an existing certificate.
• Access to transport is advantageous.

• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and complete documentation.
• Basic health and safety awareness.
