Domestic Assistant – Housekeeping Team

About the role

Join the Housekeeping Team at Launton Grange, a HC-One care home in Bicester. As a Domestic Assistant you will help maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for residents, supporting the high standards of the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and tidying of resident rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
• Ensure all surfaces, floors, and furnishings are kept to HC-One’s hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Assist with linen management and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to deliver a consistent level of service.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a care‑home environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and willingness to complete required training.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using standard cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Knowledge of health‑and‑safety and infection‑control procedures.
