About the role
This permanent part‑time position is based at Ayrshire Central Hospital and is open only to current NHS Ayrshire & Arran staff. You will join the Domestic Services Department to help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a range of housekeeping and cleaning duties to a high standard.
- Use industrial cleaning equipment where required.
- Adapt to changing priorities across the North Sector premises.
- Collaborate with colleagues and work independently as needed.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a healthcare cleaning role.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to respond to shifting staffing and activity levels.
- Willingness to undergo full training provided by the NHS.
