Domestic Assistant (Part‑time, 11 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our Kenway Court residential care home in Southend‑on‑Sea. This permanent part‑time position (11 hours per week) supports people with intellectual and physical disabilities by maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across resident rooms, communal areas and bathrooms.
• Follow internal and external regulatory standards, including health and safety and infection‑control procedures.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to senior staff promptly.
• Assist with laundry and waste management as required.

Required profile

• Passionate about caring for a community‑focused environment.
• Reliable and able to work the agreed 11‑hour weekly schedule.
• Willing to work on‑site at Kenway Court, Southend‑on‑Sea.
• No visa sponsorship available; candidates must already have the right to work in the UK.
