Domestic Assistant – Part‑time (22 hrs/week)

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at a newly‑opened luxury care home in Matlock, providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for 78 residents. This part‑time position offers 22 hours across four days, including alternate weekends, and plays a vital part in maintaining high standards of hygiene and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of presentation.
• Support laundry services, handling personal belongings with care and ensuring correct return.
• Follow infection‑control, health‑and‑safety and cleaning procedures for all tasks.
• Collaborate with the wider care team to uphold a respectful and comfortable environment.

Required profile

• Positive, reliable attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a friendly team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous domestic or housekeeping experience welcomed but not essential.

• Hourly rate of £12.71.
• 22‑hour contract per week (part‑time, temporary).
