Domestic Assistant – Part‑time (Chester le Street)

About the role

Join Robertson Facilities Management as a Domestic Assistant on a part‑time basis, supporting the cleanliness and safety of Chester‑le‑Street Community Hospital. You will work four evenings a week, helping maintain a welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Dust, vacuum and mop all designated areas to keep the site tidy.
• Empty waste bins and remove larger waste items responsibly.
• Operate commercial floor‑cleaning machines in main corridors.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Adhere to the highest cleanliness standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning.
• Good customer‑care attitude and ability to work independently.
• Understanding of Health and Safety best practices and COSHH regulations.
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check before starting.
