Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer

About the role

Liberty Group is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join its growing team covering the Medway and surrounding areas of Kent. The role involves performing annual gas safety inspections, servicing, diagnosing faults and repairing domestic gas appliances while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out annual gas safety checks and routine servicing of domestic gas appliances.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on gas heating systems and related equipment.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic job records accurately.
• Ensure work complies with Gas Safe regulations and company procedures.
• Provide professional, courteous service to residents and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage an allocated workload efficiently to maximise earnings.

Required profile

• Current ACS qualifications (minimum CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
• Valid Gas Safe registration.
• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing and repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
