Domiciliary Care Assistant – Home Care Support

About the role

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant you will support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life. You will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with household duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Administer medication according to healthcare professional instructions.
• Support clients with shopping, errands and other day‑to‑day activities.
• Offer companionship and social interaction to reduce isolation.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and work flexible hours, including weekends.
