Domiciliary Care Support Worker – Edinburgh

About the role

Almond Blossom, a rapidly expanding domiciliary care provider partnered with Randstad Care, is recruiting permanent home‑care staff for Edinburgh and Midlothian. Roles include Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Care Coordinators and a Registered Care Manager, all delivering high‑quality care in clients’ homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities according to individual care plans.
• Travel to client homes across designated postcodes, ensuring punctual and reliable service.
• Record observations, update care documentation and communicate any changes to the care team.
• For Coordinators, plan and organise care runs; for Managers, lead the care team and maintain regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Permanent, unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
• Relevant social‑care experience; SVQ Level 3 for Senior Support Workers.
• Valid UK driving licence and vehicle access for drivers; walkers must reside near the covered postcodes.
• Registered Care Manager must hold an active SSSC Care Manager registration.

Required skills

• Valid UK driving licence (for driver roles).
• SVQ Level 3 qualification (for senior support roles).
• SSSC Care Manager registration (for manager role).

What we offer

• Hourly rates £13.45 – £14 (equivalent to £25,178‑£26,208 per annum).
• Overtime opportunities allowing earnings up to £37,000+ per year.
• Full‑time 36‑hour weeks with flexible 8, 10 or 12‑hour shifts between 07:00‑22:00.
• Shift patterns can be condensed into 3‑4 working days.
