Domiciliary Carer – Home Care Support

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Domiciliary Carer to provide friendly, personalised support to clients in their own homes. You will help people live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible while offering companionship and emotional encouragement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Prepare meals and drinks, and support clients with eating when needed.
• Carry out light household duties including cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and encourage independence.
• Administer medication according to instructions and company procedures.
• Follow each client’s care plan, respecting their choices and preferences.
• Report any changes in health or wellbeing to a supervisor.
• Complete accurate care records after each visit.
• Adhere to health and safety, infection control and safeguarding policies.
• Attend required training sessions and team meetings.

Required profile

• Kind, caring and respectful attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to learn and complete training.
