Donor Finance Management Analyst

About the role

The Analyst will support EBRD’s donor‑funded business by ensuring sound financial management of donor resources through the Bank’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Working closely with Impact & Partnerships, Donor Funds Accounting, Banking and policy teams, the role requires daily recording, checking and posting of varied transactions while maintaining compliance with donor and Bank requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, change and close funds, managing the earmarking process in the ERP system in line with legal agreements.
• Provide advisory services to internal stakeholders to align practice with donor requirements.
• Develop and improve processes, controls and responsibilities within the donor‑fund area.
• Investigate data and processes to identify compliance issues and raise them with senior staff.
• Supply documentation to internal and external auditors.
• Support Impact & Partnerships by ensuring sufficient funds are available in accounts.
• Issue donor contribution billings and follow up outstanding contributions.
• Enter accurate currencies and exchange rates in the ERP system to mitigate financial risk.
• Assist with the timely closure of earmarks and donor funds.
• Generate reports and data summaries from the ERP system to support donor‑related activities.

Required profile

• Subject‑matter expertise on donor‑funded products and end‑to‑end processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify data accuracy.
• Experience working with multiple internal departments and meeting strict deadlines.
• Capability to conduct investigations and provide audit support.
