Drainage Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Drainage Engineer to join a well‑established environmental and infrastructure services provider in Hebburn. This field‑based position involves delivering essential drainage, sewer maintenance and infrastructure support services across commercial and industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out high‑pressure water jetting works on drainage networks.
• Operate vacuum tankers and boom equipment safely.
• Work within confined spaces following strict health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Record site and works information using tablet devices.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are service‑ready.
• Participate in an on‑call rota to support reactive works.

Required profile

• Valid Street Works qualification.
• HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) certification.
• Confined Space ticket.
• CSCS card.
• OSE Medium Risk certification.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to work in physically demanding, site‑based environments.
