Drama Lead – KS3 to KS5 (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

The school is seeking a passionate Drama Lead to head the department across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will join a high‑performing secondary school in Ealing, guiding both staff and students to achieve artistic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a curriculum that fosters critical thinking, cultural awareness and ethical understanding.
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of drama educators, supporting their professional development.
• Drive academic excellence and personal growth for pupils aged 11‑18.
• Create an inclusive, engaging and safe learning environment.
• Participate in the induction process for the new ECTS framework.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Experience as a middle leader or a strong ambition to step into a senior teaching role.
• Outstanding classroom practice in drama with a visionary approach to education.
• Commitment to inclusion, academic success and holistic student development.
