About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a secondary school in Hertfordshire on a full‑time, long‑term basis. You will inspire pupils to develop confidence, creativity and performance skills through engaging drama lessons and productions.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic drama lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to integrate drama across subjects.
- Lead and support extracurricular drama productions and clubs.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Passion for teaching drama and fostering student creativity.
- Strong communication and classroom‑management abilities.
- Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
