Driver and Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Driver and Warehouse Assistant to support our Kingstown branch. You will deliver products to customers on tight deadlines, assist with stock handling and provide front‑of‑house service on the trade counter. The role offers flexible hours, with additional shifts during the busy winter heating season.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely, maintaining vehicle condition and complying with transport regulations.
• Deliver orders to customers, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Handle stock movements, receive deliveries and keep the warehouse organised.
• Support the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving sales targets.
• Serve customers at the trade counter and via telephone, promoting products and upselling where appropriate.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in both the warehouse and customer‑facing areas.

Required profile

• Valid clean driving licence and proven experience as a driver.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or stock handling environment.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including peak periods.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work well with colleagues.

Required skills

• Safe vehicle operation and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Stock handling and basic inventory procedures.
