Driver – Commercial Waste Collection

About the role

Join Veolia’s growing fleet in the UK as a Driver responsible for collecting commercial waste. You will work 48 hours per week, covering early‑morning shifts and occasional Saturdays, helping local communities keep their environment clean.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Enter all collection data into the onboard system and submit daily paperwork.
• Perform daily vehicle checks according to the driver operator handbook.
• Comply with all traffic laws, load‑weight regulations and health‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Up‑to‑date Digital Tachograph card.
• Ability to follow planned routes.
• Desirable: previous waste‑management experience.
