About the role
The Drivers Mate supports the Warehouse & Distribution Manager by assisting the driver in delivering LWC Drinks products safely and efficiently across the assigned area. This role combines vehicle preparation, customer interaction, and basic warehouse duties.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the vehicle for each run, performing operator maintenance and ensuring correct loading of products.
- Assist the driver with run‑sheet checks, order picking, and route planning.
- Execute special customer requests, picking up and delivering items as noted on delivery notes.
- Verify deliveries at the final destination and communicate any stock shortages or issues.
- Return empty cases and gas bottles to the empties yard, storing them correctly.
- Maintain health and safety standards and complete required check sheets.
- Provide occasional warehouse support when needed.
Required profile
- Good safety practices and a presentable appearance at all times.
- Strong communication and excellent customer service skills.
