Driving Instructor – Flexible Hours, Earn up to £50k

About the role
My Four Wheels is expanding its network of driving instructors across the UK. You will be trained from scratch to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and will teach learners within a short distance of your home, offering flexible working hours that suit your lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver practical driving lessons to learner drivers using dual‑control vehicles.
- Prepare students for DVSA Part 2 theory and practical tests.
- Maintain accurate lesson records and follow My Four Wheels’ teaching standards.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, both online and in‑car.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
- No more than 5 penalty points and no bans in the past 5 years.
- Reliable, patient and confident when communicating with learners.
Required skills
- Ability to operate dual‑control vehicles safely.
- Basic understanding of DVSA driving instructor requirements.
What we offer
- Typical lesson rates of around £38 per hour, with potential earnings of £39k‑£50k+ per year.
